- The rear end of the PEUGEOT 2008 features a gloss black strip across the back that's enhanced by a spoiler and twin chrome exhaust, which finish off the lines beautifully. In addition to the rear signature LED lights, the 3-claw daytime running lights further accentuate both the advanced design and its visibility.
- Peugeot claims that the 2008 is roomier than before, with particular attention paid to the rear-seat room. From the outside it appears a compact car – it certainly looks lower and more stanced than before, but should be roomier inside.

What Car? says..
No, the Peugeot 2008 isn't a model dating back to the time of the last financial crisis and Usain Bolt's record-breaking Olympics. It's actually the French brand's latest small SUV and one with ambitions that would have once seemed well above Peugeot's station.
How so? Well, for decades Peugeot has been duking it out with the so-called mainstream brands, and it's still doing so today. But the latest 2008 isn't only a rival for the Ford Puma, Renault Captur, Skoda Kamiq and Volkswagen T-Roc; the more expensive versions in the line-up stray well into Audi Q2 territory.
That isn't as fanciful as it might seem, something you realise as soon as you jump inside the 2008 and feast you eyes on its lavish interior. It's also one of the largest cars in the class, so, although it's slightly more expensive than the likes of the Puma and Captur, you are quite literally getting more for your money.
